Attention Parents and Caregivers of Teens

Are you or do you know a parent or caregiver of teens who may be struggling to understand and respond to difficult behavior?  If so, a program called CONNECT may be suitable.

CONNECT is a 10 week program to help parents and caregivers of teens who are struggling to understand and respond to difficult behavior.  Parents meet in small groups with two trained group leaders for one and a half hours each week.

Each session provides parents with new information about parent-teen relationship and adolescent development.  Parents are helped to see choices that support healthy relationships while setting limits and helping their teen to move forward.  For more information, click here for the brochure. see http://www.mcf.gov.bc.ca/maples/connect.htm or call Linette Sandor (co-facilitator) / Child & Youth Mental Health – MCFD / 250-317-9237  linette.sandor@gov.bc.ca
