Lunch
Like all middle schools in SD23, KLO is a “closed campus” school. Students may not leave the school campus for lunch unless signed out by a parent/guardian in the SchoolMessenger Safe Arrival system.
Food options for students:
- Bring a lunch from home
- Purchase food items at Clawsco (KLO school store)
- Contact Administration to be added to the free lunch support program (Lindsey.Stevens@sd23.bc.ca)
Breaks
There are two short breaks after the 1st and 3rd period. These short breaks are an opportunity for students to use the washrooms, eat snacks, go to their lockers and get a breath of fresh air.

Clawsco is open for students to purchase food and snacks at lunch time (debit or cash).
